The Role

We are looking for a Presales Solution Consultant who is natural at guiding and demonstrating to prospective and existing customers on the outcomes that the Xfuze platform can deliver, backed up by strong data engineering, architecture and insights expertise.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and impact-oriented individual, who has experience in selling enterprise software, ideally in the data, integration and/or analytics space. We are also looking for this individual to come with strong industry vertical knowledge, preferably Retail, CPG, Travel, Logistics, Manufacturing and has experience of selling transformational services and digital change. We are looking for someone who can deliver a high impact from day one and can bring fresh ideas and experiences to continue the ambitious growth our rapidly expanding organisation is delivering year on year. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical aspects of the sales process working closely with the sales team, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Work with prospects to understand their key business objectives, use cases, challenges, and their architecture/ecosystem
  • Help prospects or existing customers understand the Xfuze platform - what it does, how it works, and why it is important to brands and help them understand how Xfuze will fit within their ecosystem to enable their key use cases
  • Be able to explain Xfuze platform architecture and data model
  • Support the sales team to make clear platform benefits, differentiation points and how our platform compares to others
  • Managing the demo environment and ensuring the demo has the relevant content in line with the brief of the demo
  • Demonstrating the platform to prospects and customers
  • Influencing the roadmap of the demo environment
  • Taking a consultative approach with clients to develop an opportunity to meet their needs and achieve their desired business and technology outcomes
  • Attend industry events in the UK and overseas to source and mature pipeline
  • Support the sales team with proposals and RFP’s as required
  • Feed back to the business and product team on market trends and competitive analysis
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from delivery, technical and customer success as well as the senior leadership team

Your Knowledge & Experience

Must have

  • Minimum of 3-5 years new logo Business Development and Sales experience
  • SaaS and Enterprise software selling
  • Deep knowledge of integration and analytics 
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI or similar for data visualisation and dashboard development
  • Strong Data Engineering experience across data platforms in order to hands-on demo and build dashboards for our Insights Hub to support demo’s or Proof of Concepts etc
  • Hands-on skills to demonstrate the Xfuze platform and its vision across all its capabilities ie: integration, single views of data and insights
  • Industry experience across Retail and ideally CPG, Manufacturing, travel 
  • Supporting the Sales team to nurturing sales opportunities from prospect to close
  • Tech stacks such as Google Cloud, Databricks, AWS, Python
  • Master data management or data models
  • UK & European markets (USA also desirable)
  • Integration, Data & Digital transformation experience
  • Collaborating across teams in order to progress and close sales opportunities

  • Cross industry knowledge and preferably a good understanding of Retail 
  • Innovative new business creation drivers and ideas (e.g. events, conferences, etc)
