About the role… 

Our field technical teams are in need of a self-driven, hard-working Ops Manager to support their global efforts around product consumption and adoption. While this is a cross-functional operations role, the primary roles supported are Solutions Architecture and Customer Success. Consumption is a team effort, and this role will partner with other technical roles like Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Field CTO to ensure alignment on best practices for our data strategy and systems management. The Field Consumption Ops Manager will be at the center of fiscal planning, driving operational efficiencies, and leading our data systems. 

This role sits in our Technical Field Operations team, part of our wider Revenue Operations organization. They will collaborate with cross-functional business partners like Finance, Recruiting, and our Systems teams to ensure alignment and execution.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Support SA and CS leadership in setting the vision and drive the strategic direction 
  • Support and drive field productivity through data analytics 
  • Own the reporting and business requirements for post-sale systems 
  • Report in multiple formats (CRMs, BI tools, and spreadsheets)
  • Maintain and report on our metrics that matter to the business
  • Work on top TFO corporate initiatives directly with the leadership team
  • Launch and/or ownership of: post-sales metrics, ongoing management of post-sales technical engagement platform
  • Translate recommendations to results by executing on action plans and data, managing as needed
  • Drive consistent best-practices across geographies
  • Deeply understand the role SAs and CSMs play and their operational requirements
  • Participate in global and geo sales strategy & planning activities
  • Deep dive regularly into metrics to identify root cause issues/opportunities and follow through with action-oriented insights
  • Define charter, impact, goals, and achievements with tiger teams on strategic projects
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with leaders of sales operations, product management and engineering departments
  • Partner cross-functionally to maintain/improve the baseline solutions used by SEs globally

You may be a good fit for our team if you have:

  • Have a background in and passion for data and business analytics
  • Demonstrated results in problem solving and partnering cross functional teams
  • Have Sales Operations or Revenue Operations experience
  • Understand or have experience engaging with customers in the SaaS space
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, their impact on field members
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (able to explain sophisticated issues in easy to understand terms)
  • Ability to carry multiple tasks or critical projects and prioritize in a growth company 
  • Track record of productivity and efficiency improvement
  • Outstanding executive communication
  • Experience driving cross-functional team leadership
  • Proficiency in effective decision making
