Photo Retoucher

Job Overview:

As a Photo Retoucher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our product images meet the highest standards of quality and visual appeal. You will work closely with our photography and design teams within the creative studio to retouch and edit product images, making them ready for use on our e-commerce platform. Your attention to detail and expertise in image editing software will be essential in maintaining the visual integrity of our brand.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Retouch and edit product images to enhance their visual appeal, ensuring they meet our brand standards and customer expectations.
• Correct and adjust colors, exposure, and composition to create visually appealing images that accurately represent our products.
• Remove backgrounds and replace them with clean and consistent backgrounds, or add drop shadows as needed.
• Crop and resize images to optimize them for various online platforms, including our website, social media, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with photographers and designers to understand the creative vision and objectives for each project.
• Maintain an organized digital asset library of edited images for easy access and retrieval.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging editing techniques to continuously improve the quality of our product images.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Photo Retoucher, preferably in an e-commerce or photography-related role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software.
• Strong understanding of color correction, image manipulation, and retouching techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of e-commerce photography and image optimization best practices is a plus.
