Description Position at Pathway Vet Alliance & THRIVE The People Operations Partner (HRBP) is a key member of the People Operations team, which helps support a great employee experience at Pathway! We are growing our team and need a collaborative team player that is ready to dig in and partner with leaders on day to day HR, but has a strategic mindset to help us shape the future. This will be a strong generalist focusing on business partnership, employee relations, and program/process implementation. You'll be joining a passionate team helping leaders transform their organizations, creating engaging workplace cultures for great employee experiences andpeople operationsprocesses for an assigned region(s).RESPONSIBILITIESServe as strategic business partner to leaders by supporting managers and employees in matters related to career development, staffing, employee relations, performance management and employee engagementProactively provide creative and engaging solutions to motivate employees at different career points and stagesCoach leaders and people managers to proactively manage employees and provide advice and guidance on varying employee topics and issuesDrive and support performance management processes across assigned regionSupport various training and development programsManage sensitive offboarding conversations and exitsOversee documentation and retention measures, always seeking to improve processes that ensure legal complianceStay up to date on employment law and current best practices to help better facilitate the employee experienceOther projects, as neededQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree and 3+yearsof Human Resources experiencepreferably in a multi-state environment (or 8+ years experience in lieu of degree)PHR, SHRM-CP preferredCalifornia law experience preferredOpen to travel up to 25% of the timeAble to combine great people intuition, business judgement and discretion in your decision-makingProven experience in conflict resolution and management practicesExperience providing business partnership and support to a diverse group of leaders and managersSuccessful track record of implementing HR processes, performance management and change managementExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal), exemplary client service skills, the ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environmentKnowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practicesTeam player with a sense of ownership and "get things done" attitude - self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environmentDeep comfort level with technical systems andvarious software, experience with Workday a plusValues and respects confidentialityExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsWork from home position
