A Solutions Consultant is a professional, self-motivated individual capable of supporting Five9’s partners and customers. They must possess good time management skills to manage multiple, disparate and concurrent Solutions Consultant activities. Excellent communication skills are required to build effective relationships with partners, customers, and internal contacts throughout the company. Technical account management experience, solution knowledge, and sales and technical acumen are essential to promoting excellent customer/partner satisfaction.

Five9 Solution Consultants are responsible for supporting partner pre-sales teams. Five9 Partner SC provide pre-sales enablement and education through ongoing live engagements that establish strong long-term partner relationships. They should also be capable of understanding a partner’s unique business drivers, examine current partner architecture and provide vision to recommend and realize more effective integrations and solutions, as well as work with various teams to realize that vision with the partners. Problem resolution, mapping Five9 products to the vision and demonstrating products as proof of vision are required capabilities; RFI/RFP responses; support management with thorough and timely submission of requested feedback and reports; advise and assist other Five9 employees/partners in closing business deals; participate in trade shows and other marketing activities; remain current with industry trends/competitive knowledge work with the team members. Required to maintain a high proficiency with Five9 products and improve skills with related products. Additionally, advise and assist the SC team to sell and support Five9 value to our partners and customers; and develop materials that aid partners understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Five9’s Partner ecosystem of Channel Partners to include Resellers, Technology Solution Brokers, Referral Partners, Distributors, Service Providers, and customers.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in a consultative manner
  • Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, recommend solutions, and discovery sessions focused on aligning the Five9 product line to partner and/or customer requirements
  • Effectively communicate plans, track progress and status to both internal and partner organizations
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase partner satisfaction and deepen partner relationships by interacting effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Establish and maintain lines of communication with internal stakeholders on key initiatives
  • Work with Marketing and Product Managers to define new products and solution requirements to enhance and augment our current technology platform.
  • Help design and deliver a technical sales roadmap for partner growth in the Five9 Community
  • Assist partners in developing technical sales plans that have Five9 technology at the core

Key Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have prior experience as in a Contact Center environment and have deep technical understanding of Contact Center functionality
  • Years of experience: 3+ Years Technology or Product preferred
  • Extensive on-site and web-based presentation experience and skills
  • Outstanding written, pictural, and oral presentation skills
  • The ability to foster effective relationships
  • Proven record of successful demonstrations and presentations to close deals
  • Technical aptitude and a high degree of self-motivation to learn new technologies, including building live presentation environments and proof of concepts for prospects and customers
  • Contact Center Partner industry experience or relevant technology experience
  • The ability to understand integrating and integrations to third party applications
  • Ability to Travel (40-60%)
