Job Description: Paralegal for Solar Company (Remote)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in a dynamic solar company headquartered in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal research, contract review and analysis, and drafting legal documents. This is a remote position, with a preferred overlap of 4 hours per day with the Arizona timezone/ work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Legal Research:
    • Conduct in-depth legal research on U.S. federal and state laws, regulations, and policies related to renewable energy and solar industries.
    • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting the company's operations.
  2. Contract Review and Analysis:
    • Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to identify potential risks, compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide summaries and recommendations to stakeholders regarding contract terms.
  3. Legal Document Drafting:
    • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including contracts, amendments, memoranda, and reports.
    • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  4. Administrative Support:
    • Maintain and organize the company’s legal files and records.
    • Assist the legal team with preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal or external use.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • A Paralegal Certificate/ law graduate is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a corporate or renewable energy environment.
  • Proficient in legal research
