Role Attributes:Responsible for developing group-wide business plans.Establishes and ensures compliance with policies and procedures for activities within Operations.Evaluates current methods and strategies and implements changes and improvements.Supports the execution of overall business plans in OperationsMay lead complex initiatives and projects within OperationsHas leadership responsibilities and will have a high level of interaction with senior stakeholders.May lead multiple teams in order to align operation function(s) with the interests of the Bank and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Operationalizes strategy and drives business outcomes by developing short to medium term action plans to meet functional business goals. Typically has more than one Analyst reporting in to him/her.ExperienceAt least 10 years' experience within operations, with at least 5 years as manager.The Operations Support Manager is responsible for enhancing internal Residential Lending operations process to increase efficiency, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and increase productivity.Responsibilities include:Typically supervising a team of 1-3 Operations Support AnalystsMitigating risk by ensuring compliance with bank policy and regulationsMaintaining and developing a risk and control assessment program and ensuring the established procedures are in placeAdministering constant review and re-engineering of operational processes and procedures.Responsible for assigning priorities and projects, forecasting business operational needs and recommending innovative solutions for process improvements
