What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to lead the operations of the Charts team. You are expected to perform a transversal role, translating new customers’ needs into technical specifications, guiding the team into planning and delivering excellent services.

  • Delivering excellent services and results to clients
  • Understanding clients’ needs and finding optimal solutions
  • Discerning the technical capabilities of the tools and the team and translating them to clients
  • Improving internal processes and leading changes
  • Leading the charts operations team setting and evaluating the team’s OKRs and expectations 


All About You

  • Based in Barcelona or available to visit us in the office each week
  • +3 years experience in project management, technical account management, or client support in technical environments
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and with strong attention to detail
  • Initiative, drive, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving
  • Passion for listening, asking, understanding, and communicating
  • Love for teamwork and learning
  • Computer literacy
  • Be comfortable dealing with a large amount of data and numbers
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a must
  • You have helped teams to achieve goals 
  • Music is one of your biggest passions and you’re willing to learn about the music industry


  • Knowledge or experience in the music industry
  • Previous role involving data extraction and/or data analysis
  • You know Python or you are eager to learn about it
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL queries


15 days

  • Shadow team members to understand the ops planning and processes
  • Be familiar with the different stakeholders involved in our day to day operations
  • Participate in team meetings and client calls

30 day

  • High-level understanding of the existing Charts operations, platforms and software.
  • Build an understanding of BMAT’s different products and services.
  • Actively overview a Monday charts delivery for the first time
  • Start to receive and coordinate ad hoc client requests 
  • Own clients communication
  • Start supporting the business line team

60 day

  • Active involvement in day to day operations in order to have a deeper understanding of the charts processes 
  • Be able to support business, ops and engineering teams and funnel ongoing requests to the product backlog for prioritization and planning
  • Ensure the team’s ownership of the the end-to-end chart generation processes 
  • Share any relevant previous experience with the team that may benefit operations.

90 day

  • Work with the team to set their personal OKRs for a quarter.
  • Already understand each client's needs and the reasoning behind each request or chart particularities
  • Review, structure and contribute to the documentation of the charts operations, involving the team in this process
  • Facilitate inter teams collaboration and awareness

360 day

  • You should be proficient in all your “Key Responsibilities”
