Job Description: We are excited to add a dedicated audit professional to our Audit team! This candidate will have a proven track record contributing to risk assessments and leading / executing audit engagements. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Internal Audit team within an industry leader.Responsibilities:Provide an independent, objective assurance and advisory activity designed to add value and improve Group operationsPerform field audits throughout the US market at branch locations and distribution centers with activity covering all business processes - financial, operational, IT and legal/complianceApply professional auditing principles and standards to evaluate complex records and operational systemsSupport a team environment with strong dedication to meeting departmental goalsProduce high quality working papers to document tests performed, results and conclusionsWork in partnership with other internal audit teams on integrated/operational corporate auditsUnderstand business processes as they relate to supply chain, operations and control activities in support of business objectivesAssist the Senior Auditor and Audit Manager in preparing quality reportingEffectively communicate observations and corrective agreed actions verbally and in writing to audit clientsCollaborate closely with a range of partners to build relationships and facilitate the achievement of audit activitiesUtilize and manage data with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau and ThinkLPOther duties / special projects as assignedAbility to adapt and change in a fast-paced environmentPotential to grow within Internal Audit and within the Ferguson business structureTravel / Location:High-level of mobility with an average of ~60% travel requirementPosition is remote. Living close to a large airport is ideal.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business or related fieldCertification preferred (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.)At least 1-2 years' experience in risk-based auditing (internal or external) - operational audit experience preferredExperience with distribution and retail industries preferredPreferred knowledge of Oracle, Workday, ThinkLP and Power BIExcellent analytical and project management skillsOutstanding communication, presentation and persuasion skills requiredAbility to prioritize, multi-task and manage deadlinesProficient with ExcelFerguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families-geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
