Job Description

The MCS Group, Inc. has a full-time opportunity for a Customer/Office Services representative for our Harrisburg Area.

Job responsibilities include performing office functions such as shipping and receiving, records management, mail processing, and hospitality.

Candidates must possess strong customer service skills and a positive approach to working in a high paced environment with the ability to lift 50 lbs. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work independently.

Full-Time Position

Salary: $15.00/hr

Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week

The Customer/Office Services Representative must be highly motivated, customer focused and capable of demonstrating a variety of tasks and skills relating to the high paced environment. This associate provides a high-level of quality of work while maximizing productivity.

Job Description for the Office Services Floater (50%):

The job responsibilities include handling document copying and imaging, mail processing, records management, shipping and receiving and hospitality in our Middletown locations. Candidates must have their own, reliable transportation to report to various assignments located in Middletown.

Job Description for the Customer Service Representative (50%):

The associate will work from home on a company provided laptop and phone.

  • Retrieve and return voice messages from providers and enter comments on the status screen.
  • Review daily station and progress report for your previous day's activities.
  • Complete all calls in the order given beginning with callbacks.
  • Based on the tone of each call, determine if a supervisor's assistance is necessary to obtain the records in a timely manner.
  • Strive to keep all requests under 90 days.
  • Enter the results of all contact with providers: calls, emails, and correspondence, with clear and concise screen notes.
  • Update clients with status changing actions and memos.
  • Notify client specialists or team leader of any non-responsive providers or significantly overdue requests with no activity after exhausting all means of research.
  • Research missing and/or incorrect provider information
  • Update any provider instructions, new contact information, or procedures by entering the appropriate change field sheet.

This is a full-time job with full benefits including medical, 401(k), and PTO time. Travel in the surrounding areas is necessary and includes mileage reimbursement. Compensation starts at $15.00 per hour with performance incentives and career opportunities.
