Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman - Remote in Vicksburg Area

Responsibilities:
OBXtek is currently staffing for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman to work remotely in the Vicksburg, MS area supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.The tasks for this position are to include, but not be limited, to the following:Install, configure and support the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and internet systems or a segment of a network system.Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.May monitor and test web site performance to ensure web sites operate correctly and without interruption.May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.May administer network security measures.Potential visits to the Vicksburg, MS office as needed.

Qualifications:
Active SECRET ClearanceEDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION:BA/BS degreeDoD 8570 IAT Level ISKILLS: 2-4 years relevant experience with network and systems administration
