.Net Developer | £35,000 - £45,000 Basic | Manchester - Hybrid

The Company

My client are currently in their growth phase. They have 7 offices across the UK, but are currently hiring for their Manchester office. They provide a variety of SaaS technology such as mobile working software, analytics, organisation software, scheduling, Insights and a variety of others. Selling to the government, NHS, Housing, Infrastructure, logistics and emergency services.

This SaaS software helps save time, money, allow companies to be more organised, effective, and improves the lives of the employees, including their wellness.

They provide a highly technical environment, with flexible working, progression opportunities, and a good training environment. There are probably 4 main reasons to join. Modern Tech, good training, varied work (they have a plethora of software) & progression.

They have grown in revenue by over 500% in the last few years, so are in a stable place to invest in a number of new, Mid Level hires, for the tech team.

Tech stack

.NET 5 using C#. They will be constantly implanting the newest versions of .Net so have already surpassed .Net core and will be looking to .Net 6 and .Net 7 soon.

They use both Azure & AWS cloud. Entity framework, PostgreSQL, Agile, unit-tests & TDD. They are also working with microservices and containers.

They have product owners, QAs, Support and DevOps teams which allow developers to focus on software development.

What You Will Be Doing

• BackEnd or FullStack Development. They want to offer you what you enjoy, so if you prefer just .Net / SQL then that is fine. If you want to be exposed to TypeScript / Angular they can offer that too. They know some .Net developers want to work across the fullstack and some just want to work back-end
• Building greenfield projects and working on a variety of their products. New products always being made, and lots of new things need to be added to their existing SaaS solutions
• Writing high quality code
• Developing Web APIs
• They work with both Azure or AWS cloud and use the cloud that best fits the software being created
• Work with microservices and containers

The Skills Needed

• All versions of .Net will be considered (.Net Framework, ASP.Net, .Net Core, .Net 6)
• Some knowledge with SOLID principles
• Some SQL experience would be ideal
• Most vital is just potential - as they are big on training and progression, they are more than happy to take someone on, and get them developed to the next level

What You Will Get

• Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 basic
