As a member of our Branch Support - Training team, YOU can be a difference maker!The Originating Trainer position facilitates and presents training on various origination processes and procedures to meet the companys standards and objectives. Engages with Loan Officers (LOs) and Loan Officer Assistants (LOAs) on an individual and group basis facilitating the originating process, including assistance with Encompass loan originations. (NOTE: 100% remote role. Previous mortgage loan origination experience required. Encompass LOS software experience strongly preferred.)Essential Job Functions:Facilitates and presents company training programs for sales staff in an engaging and constructive style Provides continuous coaching/training to Loan Officers on Encompass and best practicesFacilitates face-to-face and virtual training instruction Preserves knowledge of course content; ensuring accuracy and relevance of material presented Escalates on-going training concerns to management Facilitates supplemental training and answers questions on an as needed basis Manages an email queue with the teamFacilitates and presents LOS system trainingEvaluates training through review of quality applications taken by Loan OfficersMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publicationsEnhances instructional delivery and presentation skills continuouslyNon-Essential Job Functions:Participates in and leads proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goalsAdopts Fairway values in personal work behaviors, decision making, contributions and interpersonal interactionsContributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and funPerforms other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge and Skills:Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures, and regulationsSolid knowledge and understanding of loan programs such as Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo and Bond loans Required Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalency degree, some college preferred 5+ years of Mortgage Industry experience2+ years of Mortgage training experience preferred Demonstrated experience in Loan Origination preferredDemonstrated experience with LMS (Learning Management System) preferredDemonstrated experience with SmartBoard preferredDemonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to strict deadlinesDemonstrated experience with MS Office software productsDemonstrated experience researching and solving problemsIf the above job describes you and youre interested in becoming a part of the Fairway team, please Apply Now to complete our application process.
