About the role

  • Initiate the wire transfer to disburse loan funds and review/approve executed closing documents to ensure a smooth, stress-free closing for our borrowers.

  • Review closing documentation and validate data within our Loan Origination System (Encompass).

  • Initiate the wire for release to the settlement agent and ensure management is notified for wire approval.

  • Review and approve signed closing documents, notifying the settlement agent to release funds.

  • Communicate (Phone/Email) with the Settlement Agent if additional conditions are required. 

  • Register the loan in the MERS system.

  • Collaborate with other Post-Closing team members to ensure the timely completion of all daily duties.

  • Maintain company service level and turn-time standards, including return-call times, return-email times, and task completion times.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $22.80 - $34.20 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $21.70 - $32.50 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

  • 1+ years of experience in mortgage processing, closing, or post-closing.

  • Meticulous and quality-focused, taking pride in your work.

  • Proactively resolves problems in a dynamic, process-centered environment.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Google Suite. 

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
