And most of all, you're willing to guide project teams and impart the wisdom you've gained in your career.ABOUT THE POSITIONAs a Team Leader and Project Manager, you'll lead project teams on a variety of complex and interesting building projects. You will develop strategies to grow business and engage new clients. Projects may include the study, assessment, design, and specification of MEP (Mechanical - Electrical - Plumbing) systems for buildings and site infrastructure; both new buildings and in existing structures.In this position, you will manage an outstanding staff of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers while you plan, direct and coordinate activities to grow and develop a high performing team. You will take the lead during business development, proposal development, and conceptual, preliminary and final design of a vast array of infrastructure and building projects; mentor and train less experienced engineers; and manage project design teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for primary client communication and maintaining the high standards of work we produce through the Quality Assurance/Quality Control of various projects.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMassachusetts P.E. Licensure Required (and/or ability to obtain reciprocity in MA and other states)Requires minimum 10+ years' relevant experience in MEP building systems and site projects; and consultingPrevious experience managing staffExperience using AutoCAD and BIM required; experience with Deltek Vision preferredExperience with Trane Trace or similar load calculation software and energy efficiency programsExperience with preparing proposals, projects budgets and business development is requiredExcellent oral and written communication skills; strong skills in Microsoft SuiteThis position will be based in our Central Region and will manage staff located in Boston, MA and Providence, RI.
