Job Description

MEDVA, a leading virtual assistant company in the healthcare industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Virtual Assistant to join our esteemed clients. As a Medical Virtual Assistant at MEDVA, you will play a vital role in supporting doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals in providing excellent patient care. Our mission is to assist healthcare providers in their clinical operations, ensuring efficient workflows and improving patient satisfaction.


  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and organizing medical records
  • Assist with patient communication, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries and concerns
  • Coordinate and facilitate telemedicine sessions, ensuring seamless virtual consultations
  • Conduct medical research as required, providing accurate and relevant information to support clinical decision-making
  • Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care

  • Candidate MUST HAVE previous experience supporting US-based clients in the Healthcare space. Previous experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in using medical software and technology platforms, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and documentation
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing is strongly desired.
  • Graduate and (preferably) licensed in any Allied Health profession is a plus but not required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to undergo training and stay updated with industry trends and best practices
