What you'll do
Planning & Buying
- Develops client-focused media plans with clear strategic rationale and presents them to clients with confidence and clarity, entering finalized plans into Engage with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manages budgets, assesses opportunities, and maintains a rolling opportunities proposal to ensure clients are always positioned for growth.
Campaign Execution & Reporting
- Leads buying and negotiation efforts while monitoring delivery and optimizing campaign performance in real time.
- Oversees campaign execution across assigned accounts, making real-time optimizations as needed to maximize performance.
- Handles ad hoc requests with agility and flexibility, adapting quickly to evolving client needs and shifting priorities.
- Proactively identifies and flags potential issues, bringing solutions — not just problems — to the team.
- Manages campaign verification and reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals at every stage.
- Communicates performance insights clearly and professionally to internal teams and client stakeholders.
Vendor Relations & Negotiation
- Builds and maintains strong strategic relationships with network partners to drive favorable negotiation outcomes.
- Stays at the forefront of new opportunities emerging within the podcast ecosystem, bringing relevant insights and recommendations to the team.
- Ensures all vendor-facing communication is professional, timely, and aligned with internal standards.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of media buying or planning experience, with a track record of managing campaigns end-to-end.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience building relationships with media vendors.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail — you take pride in getting things right the first time.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment — comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving processes and priorities.
