With talented managers and inspiring coworkers to support you, you'll find the resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world.Location/Division Specific InformationThe Sr. Manager, Product Management position is located within the Laboratory Products Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific.How will you make an impact?You will identify new Connected Solutions business opportunities for the Lab Products Division, guide the creation of positioning and messaging campaigns, inform development of the solutions based on market / customer opportunities, and develop and deploy go-to-market strategies towards realizing Connected Solutions business goals. You will partner with Business Unit Product Marketing and cross-company Service Marketing Development functions.What will you do?Develop strategic, multi-channel integrated marketing plans for areas of responsibility, including customer segmentation, competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, sales funnels, and staging and pacing of tactical programsGuide the development of copy and creative content for identified markets, appropriately positioning products within compliance guidelines, while conveying strong value propositions and clear product differentiationCreate and implement appropriate marketing content across multiple channels, including social media, web, video, print, and moreDevelop and manage a robust lead generation funnelDevelop and execute new product launch plan and campaigns to drive revenue growthCoordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standardsCollaborate and ensure alignment of marketing plans and sales training materials among Product Management, Regional Market Development, Commercial Partners, and other stakeholdersSuccessfully engage with advertising agencies and marketing program managers to deliver high-quality assets, including, but not limited to, creative direction and content for print and digital collateral, PR, social media, customer-facing presentations, global tradeshow properties and promotional materialsInteract with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication and public presentationHow will you get here?EducationBachelor's degree in business, science, engineering or related degree.Experience5+ years of experience developing marketing strategy and successfully implementing marketing plans for digital/web/IoT products or remote service and monitoring solutions preferred3+ years working in a product management role, or with product management functions as part of product or service development processes preferredDemonstration of digital marketing expertise with proven campaigns in display advertising, search engine marketing, social, video and automation approaches.Experience with product area marketing plans, general knowledge of operating plans or industry practices for promoting and selling similar productsServices background or solid customer experience background globallyMarketing or Product Management experience working with scientific instruments preferredDigital and technical product background-SaaS, PaaS preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverablesStrong business acumen and customer focusExceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skillsProven business partner influencing stronger business outcomesStrong customer engagement mindset and commercial experienceAdept at building and maintain relationships with customers and key opinion leadersStrong creative intuition on design and messaging that resonates with customers and an ability to learn from previous campaigns to improve on performanceSome travel will be required.
