Civitas Learning seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is essential to implementing campaigns to build brand awareness, drive demand, connect with customers, and efficiently manage our marketing technology infrastructure.

As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will work closely with the marketing team to implement innovative campaigns and strategies that enhance the entire customer lifecycle, creating opportunities that engage and delight our prospects and customers. You will implement high-impact, data-driven marketing programs across paid media, social, digital, web, email, events, and more using an audience-first approach.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with marketing, sales, and Customer Development teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms like Google Ads, Search Display, and paid social media and assist with SEO/SEM initiatives to enhance organic traffic and visibility.
  • Work collaboratively on messaging, targeting, and execution of integrated campaigns to ensure an optimal buyer journey and experience.
  • Measure, test, and improve the efficiency and productivity of demand programs. 
  • Help implement personalized nurture and Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to drive interest and engagement with key prospects and customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders to plan and promote owned and field events. Oversee these events' implementation and logistics support, including in-person and virtual formats.
  • Create and maintain marketing analytics reports ranging from activity-level metrics to the overall impact of marketing on business objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement or increased ROI.
  • Manage and optimize our marketing technology stack. Act as the marketing point person for Salesforce and HubSpot platforms. Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as the primary technical resource for the marketing team.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing or comparable experience in a B2B Saas business
  • Marketing automation experience and familiarity with Hubspot and Salesforce, experience with WordPress and SEMrush a plus
  • Willingness to learn additional technologies to support marketing processes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and English language fluency
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable in a small team where flexibility and collaboration are essential
  • High-performing, self-starter who is excited to dive in and make things happen
  • A strong analytical mindset, paired with a curious and problem-solving attitude.
