Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to join the Eurofins Viracor marketing team. This is REMOTE position Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. **Experience in Oncology is a major PLUS**
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility:
The marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and activities to build Eurofins Viracor's oncology business within hospitals and health systems. The marketing manager must be experienced, preferably within oncology, in developing overarching marketing strategies within a pre-launch to launch portfolio.
The position requires a solid understanding of the role of biomarkers and diagnostics in precision and personalized medicine as well as established connections and relationships in the diagnostic space. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to drive testing adoption of new biomarkers within the oncology segment.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Develop long-term and short-term strategic marketing goals for NGS products and pipeline with measurable impact on customer utilization
  • Lead KOL strategy, identification and engagement plan to develop outstanding relationships and drive Eurofins Viracor's leadership in precision oncology
  • Develop and lead advisory boards and round tables to generate rich insights that inform strategical plans and execution
  • Build and manage marketing deliverables to support C-suite engagements
  • Coordinate the development and rollout of marketing strategies and tactics
  • Actively coordinate marketing activities and prioritize resource asks
  • Support cross-functional execution of the company strategy for the market segment
  • Identifies, analyzes, and translates product, brand, customer, patient, and relevant information to frame and solve business problems and build effective marketing plans
  • Supports market research efforts and understands the oncology business environment including familiarity with payers and pricing strategies
  • Partner with field leaders, internal SMEs and KOLs to continually refine and augment messaging, tools, and proof points
  • Gather and assess market and competitive intelligence, global trends, and next-generation assays
  • Lead and support voice of customer research specific to, but not limited to, assigned portfolio to identify key customer needs
  • Partner with cross functional team members in upstream identification of exploitable opportunities, solution definition, and solution development and go-to market planning to ensure unmet areas of customer needs are met and differentiated solutions are developed
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to define and develop marketing assets, programs, and campaigns to create awareness of assigned test capabilities and to drive demand generation, opportunity acceleration, clinical demand, and brand value
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA highly preferred
  • 6+ years total experience
  • 6+ years marketing management experience
  • 6+ years in NGS and/or laboratory/cancer diagnostic industry preferred
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and technical skills
  • Strong upstream and downstream experience and skills
  • Strong knowledge of immunology and allergy clinical experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects with good organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
