Job Description

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester with EXCELLENT communication skills, needs to be local to Richardson, TX, and also not require Visa sponsorship. This QA Tester will be working remote for now but will eventually need to come to the office for only a few days a week. Manager Notes If the candidate has some Selenium that is fine but itrsquos mainly manual testing They will be working with the Deposits and Treasury team so needs to be someone with web based browser, mortgage servicing, andor online banking knowledge and having tested these types of applications Need to have tested with Fed Wire, Pay Plus or Swift If they have any background in MS Azure or DevOps that is a plus not required System test cases and testing for defects Need to have knowledge of Jira or Quality Center Job Description Responsibilities Participate in the testing process for various systems in the bank Execute hands-on testing Evaluate and test new or modified software programs to verify that the programs function according to business requirements Review business, functional and technical requirements to form test plans and cases Interact with business and technology representatives at all levels within the organization Review new or modified applications, including documentation, diagrams and flow charts, to determine if application will perform according to business requirements Create data mapping documentation, process flows and detailed test cases and scripts for assigned projects Adhere to established TCB quality assurance standards and test procedures Cross team collaboration to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently Find defects within applications and enter them into an issue tracking system Qualifications 3-5 years of Quality Assurance andor Development experience required Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures employed in Quality Assurance discipline (e.g., test plans, test cases, metrics) required Detail-oriented individual who is a team player and can work independently with minimal supervision (self-starter) required Strong oral presentation and written communication skills required Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills required Experience participating in large, complex projects required Prior involvement with waterfall andor agile methodologies preferred BankingFinancial Services experience preferred Bachelorrsquos degree preferred Ability and willingness to work overtime, depending on the priority of projects and the deadlines associated with them
