Job Description We're looking for a creative communicator and people manager who will lead our Software, Mobile Video, Cybersecurity & CTO organization's communication efforts for internal team members and external customers. Role Overview: Help create the strategic communication plan and define projects and milestones that move that plan forward Collaborate on new and creative initiatives to improve internal team communication and external customer communication Conduct measurement and analysis of our programs and help identify opportunities for improvement Assist in the creation or coordination of communication assets, including videos and presentations Draft communications or provide edits with an eye toward simplifying complex messages and aligning to our consistent strategic vision. Internally, that includes (but is not limited to) organizational announcements, product announcements, customer news and employee successes. Externally, that includes (but is not limited to) software release enhancements, customer newsletters and other technical notifications Facilitate reviews and advance notices of internal communications among senior leaders and corporate communication partners, while always protecting internal confidentiality Build and distribute internal communications to the necessary audiences using our internal email platform Support internal town hall meetings for senior leadership Ensure the timely distribution of our internal newsletter with content that delivers value to our teams Maintain and evolve our organization's internal website Serve as our organization's internal point of contact for cybersecurity incident communications Lead the communication team while collaborating with and inspiring internal partners in the marketing and culture teams Candidate may reside anywhere in the US - This role is fully remote with the option of in-office work hours and collaboration, depending on location of the candidate. This role will require you to work collaboratively with people in these functions: Product Marketing Product Management Sales Corporate Communications Culture Senior Leadership Teams Additional Knowledge/Skills: Proven expertise in verbal and written communication Excellent copy editing skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple communication projects and deadlines The ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language Highly collaborative and able to build productive, positive working relationships internally Previous people management experience is preferred Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred Experience in the government or technology sectors is a plus Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred in communication, marketing or related field, plus 2+ years of experience OR 4-5+ years of communications experience Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
