Role Purpose 

 

 

The Manager, Change Management is accountable for enabling successful adoption of change across all Canada PMOsupported initiatives by embedding consistent, scalable PROSCIbased Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices. 

This role partners closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Leads, and the Training team to ensure a full endtoend change lifecycle is delivered—spanning impact assessment, leadership readiness, communications, training enablement, adoption, and sustainment. 

The incumbent will act as the OCM practice lead for Canada, ensuring change approaches are integrated into project delivery while improving organizational readiness, employee experience, and realized business outcomes. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

 

1. OCM Strategy & Practice Leadership 

 

  • Own and evolve the Canada PMO Change Management practice, grounded in PROSCI methodology and aligned to enterprise standards. 

  • Define and maintain change playbooks, tools, templates, and standards that scale across project size and complexity. 

  • Establish clear OCM engagement models, intake criteria, and sizing approaches across the Canada portfolio. 

  • Coach and guide delivery leaders on applying appropriate change tactics based on project risk, complexity, and impact. 

 

 

 

2. Portfolio & Project Support 

 

  • Provide handson change leadership for priority and highimpact Canada initiatives. 

  • Conduct and oversee:  

  • Change impact assessments 

  • Stakeholder and readiness assessments 

  • Sponsor and leadership alignment activities 

  • Resistance management plans 

  • Integrate OCM activities into project and agile delivery plans, ensuring change is not treated as an afterthought. 

  • Ensure change activities are outcomefocused and aligned to project success metrics. 

 

 

 

3. Training & Enablement Partnership 

 

  • Partner closely with Training and Enablement teams to deliver a cohesive people change experience. 

  • Ensure learning strategies are informed by:  

  • Role impacts 

  • Change readiness levels 

  • Timing of adoption milestones 

  • Align communications, training, and reinforcement activities into a single, integrated change approach. 

  • Support readiness for golive, stabilization, and sustainment beyond implementation. 

 

 

 

4. Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building 

 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sponsors, Senior Leaders, and People Leaders on leading change effectively. 

  • Enable leaders to fulfill their PROSCI sponsor responsibilities through targeted coaching and tools. 

  • Build change capability across the Canada PMO and business teams through:  

  • Awareness sessions 

  • Embedded coaching 

  • Practical, projectbased learning
