What will you be doing:
The Manager, Care Management manages specific areas of the department (Utilization Management and Case Management) staff and work activities, including planning, day-to-day management and representing the department within the company structure. As a member of the management team, this individual helps to create a climate and provide services in such a manner that staff can maximize their abilities to function effectively and efficiently. This individual participates in the hiring process including resume review and interview as well as has responsibility for periodic review and annual performance reviews of direct reports. This position is responsible for new hire orientation, staff training and development. This person assists with coordinating and participating in Utilization Management and Case Management program quality monitoring activities including any accreditation processes to achieve high-quality, cost-effective program outcomes compliant with Plan benefits, facility contracts, accreditation standards and applicable regulations.
