Responsible for analyzing and reporting on malware and adversary activity. How you will make an impactCollect, identify, and analyze malware samplesWrite reports about attacker activity, trends, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).Support active incident response engagement.Builds and maintains documented standard operating proceduresBuilds an expertise in knowledge Optiv's Threat Management professional services Performs other responsibilities as neededQualifications for success:Bachelor's Degree and approximately 3-5 years of related work experienceExperience with C, Python, and JavaScriptExperience with disassembly tools and functional exploits, the creation of custom shellcode, code to bypass typical security measures, and ring 0 programmingExperience with using both static and dynamic tools and techniques to analyze and reverse-engineer malware, including Binary Ninja, Immunity Debugger, Ollydbg, Windbg, Ida Pro, and GhidraExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build rapport and collaborate regularly across teamsAbility to effectively communicate ideas and processes in a professional manner to external and internal clientsExcellent organizational and time management skillsSuperior problem solving and critical thinking skillsDemonstrated ability to work within a team environmentAbility to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines simultaneously#LI-PS1If you are seeking a culture that supports growth, fosters success and moves the industry forward, find your place at Optiv!
