Job Description

Magento Developer - Fully Remote - Perm

Currently I am recruiting for a Magento Developer - with specific experience utilising Magento on behalf of a world-renowned based fashion house. The successful candidate will assist with the development and support of all transactional website based on Magento Enterprise Edition. The candidate will be responsible for the support of both core Magento client-specific functionality as well as the development of new custom functionality to support future business needs. This role is home based with very occasional travel to the client's office when the Covid climate settles. The team currently includes 3 web developers along with a development manager.

The Role:
Demonstrate expertise in object orientated PHP and MySQL development for the Magento Enterprise framework.
Provide on-going test-driven PHP development on the core Magento platform adhering to Zend Coding standards.
Provide full and clear documentation of all custom PHP development that you undertake to accepted business standards.
Provide debugging, support and resolution of platform issues reported by other areas of the business.
Ensuring that projects are technically adhered to and delivery deadlines maintained.
Ensure regular knowledge transfer with team members as part of an agile scrum software development team.
Research and development of new and emerging Magento tools and technologies.

Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Software Development (PHP).
Knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript frameworks
Proven Magento 2 Enterprise/Community experience and creation of custom modules. Object-oriented software development in PHP.
Experienced in working in a GIT based version-control environment. Website usability testing experience.
Experience working with systems such as JIRA/Zenhub for bug tracking.
Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces and general experience in interfacing with external APIs.
ERP integrations and working with third parties such as FarFetch, Attraqt.
