About the role:
We’ve recently launched an Acquisition Accelerator to help people acquire a new business. As a part of the Accelerator, we are supporting our cohort with deal flow analysis. Basically, we want to provide the group with a dedicated analyst to review business listings, reach out to brokers, get on calls with brokers etc to hunt for good deals. So that is where you come in 🙂
We want to onboard an analyst to support our accelerator in finding and reviewing businesses. Most businesses will be between the 1-5m range and can be online or offline type businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding M/A target buy box for our accelerator students
- Reaching out to brokers and business marketplaces to find business listings that fit our targets
- Coordinating with the brokers to get the listing information
- Reviewing listings
- Sharing top listings that fit the criteria of the accelerator participants
Requirements:
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions
- Experience reviewing business listings
- Experience communicating with business brokers
- Experience as an analyst reviewing deals or working on deals
