Description
  • Audit the pricing system daily to ensure the accuracy of published rates.
  • Ensure all pricing-related data is accurately entered and maintained.
  • Review and verify lock requests received by the lock desk.
  • Handle lock maintenance requests such as extensions, re-locks, updates, renegotiations, etc.
  • Assist with pricing-related questions regarding policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
  • Assist with mandatory trade data preparation, execution, and input.
  • Analyze and resolve operational issues associated with rate lock mismatches.
  • Research pricing requests and update the system with required pricing changes.
  • The Lock Desk Analyst is expected to maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work on time every day.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • EST Candidates Preferred.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of mortgage pricing/registration experience.
  • High attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and often stressful environment.
  • Must accept coaching and constructive criticism regarding best practices and designated organizational scripts.
  • Must have excellent organization, computer, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have analytical thinking ability, diplomacy, and professionalism.
  • Work well with other team members and leaders, including colleagues, correspondent counterparties, vendors, and leadership team members.
  • Must possess proficient computer skills in applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, and LOS systems.
