Job: Linux/ Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid personality, be a good communicator, pro-active, easily adapt to new technologies, have an attention to detail, and be able to engage with other teams very well. The candidate should have at least 9-10 years of experience in the field.
The primary focus of the role will be on infrastructure building, with a 70% emphasis on this area. However, the candidate will also be expected to provide operational support as needed. Certification in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is a huge plus, but not required.
The candidate should have experience with Redhat, Ansible, and Terraform, as well as be familiar with YAML/JSON Files, Bash, and Python scripting, and have good experience with Version Control, especially GitHub. The candidate should also have experience with VMware, preferably at least 5+ years. Understanding of networking or firewalls is also a plus.
The team is currently using RHEL versions 7.9 and 8.6, which are quite similar. Cloud experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining infrastructure
Providing operational support as needed
Working with other teams to engage and collaborate on projects.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Documentation of projects, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
9-10+ years of experience in infrastructure operations
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) certification (preferred)
Experience with Redhat, Ansible, and Terraform
We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in Terraform and Ansible
Experience writing any playbooks from scratch?
Need someone who will be writing Scripts, and Ansible tables & Ansible Tower
Familiarity with YAML/JSON Files, Bash, and Python scripting
Good experience with Version Control (especially GitHub)
VMware experience (5+ years preferred)
Understanding of networking or firewalls (preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
