AWS, Linux, System Administrator
This exciting new Infrastructure Cloud System Administrator opportunity is for a global veterinary-Tech company who specialise in distributing medical imaging (X-rays, CT, MRI-Scans) will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving their current IT infrastructure, which hosted in the cloud. The primary focus will be on maintaining AWS cloud services and ensuring 24/7 continuity and security. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving their current platform that is currently running on an JIRA (Atlassian) platform.
As an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer you will report into the Head of IT Developments, to work closely with the rest of their growing IT team, currently composed of a Full-time in-house developer, a Head of IT Support, a Head of IT development, and several third-party teams of developers.

Excellent and proven working knowledge of Amazon Web Services platform (EC2, S3 etc)
Proficiency with Linux (shell access, linux command line, server monitoring and administration)
Experience in network administration, including DNS, VPNs, Firewalls
Experience in the following frameworks will be beneficial: Django, Google apps
A strong understanding of industry best practice & security principles, and the ability implement a process driven approach across the IT team
Strong will and ability to learn new languages and technologies, a passion for innovations
Excellent communication skills
Capability to work autonomously
Capable of flexibility and reactivity, embracing the working style of a scale-up growing company
Administration and configuration of JIRA server will be a plus
Work closely with our IT team and third-party team of developers
Maintenance and improvements of our cloud architecture on AWS
Configure, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade as needed our cloud infrastructure
Ensure 24/7 security of our infrastructure by implementing industry best practice measures
Maintenance and technical improvement of our platform Create technical documentations for reference and reporting, as required
Participate to out of hours IT support coverage
