Job Description

At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you'll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation. Your Impact: In this position, you will be an integral part of developing and implementing business-oriented learning strategies for various projects focused on mortgage origination & underwriting policies and Loan Advisor initiatives. Use your creativity, consultative, problem solving, instructional design, and project management skills to provide clear and easy-to-understand learning solutions for our clients. Your daily responsibilities will include: Using business analytical skills to identify training needs Working with busy subject matter experts (SMEs) in a quickly changing and complex environment Leading the end-to-end development of training curriculum for Loan Advisor tools, projects and policies Creating and managing project plans Authoring learning content for different delivery methods, including online help, user guides/training manuals, job aides, tutorials and reference tools. Applying consultative and business analytical skills to perform needs and/or gap analysis resulting in training/education plans to meet client needs and support Freddie Mac business goals Editing materials for clarity, consistency, and instructional soundness - while continually looking for ways to improve them. Facilitating cross-functional meetings to resolve issues Leveraging industry trends to deliver innovation and positive learning experiences Qualifications: Proven instructional design/learning experience design experience with complex topics Strong verbal and written communications skills Solid consultative skills and ability to build business partner relationships Demonstrated problem-solving skills and detail orientation Ability to work independently and with a collaborative team Proficiency with multi-tasking and prioritizing competing priorities Experience facilitating training is a plus Primary Mortgage Market experience in origination and underwriting is a plus! Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience Keys to Success in this Role: Proven professional writing skills and in-depth knowledge of correct grammar Proven experience with instructional design/learning experience design for complex topics Ability to analyze business processes, systems, policies and changes then translate that analysis into learning solutions Nimble attitude and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate 360, Adobe Acrobat Professional, RoboHelp, SnagIt and/or other eLearning authoring tools.
