About the role

Positioned within our Learning Academies structure, this role will help to evolve the way employees learn at Kerry by ensuring that our learning content is packaged, is accessible and is delivered efficiently, consistently, and to the highest level of quality and learning impact.

This role will work closely with our Learning Consultants in our Learning Academies, and with our Learning Technologists and Learning Administrators in our Global Business Services (GBS) Learning Team.

In this role you will also engage with relevant functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in designing and developing learning content, supporting our desire to enable our colleagues to own and drive their ongoing career development.

This role will be remote, and candidates can be based anywhere in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop learning content - Support Learning Consultants or GBS Learning Technologists in the creation of learning content through providing instructional design guidance and input.
  • Manage learning content development - Manage complex learning content development projects through acting as point of contact and point of integration for Learning Consultants, GBS learning teams and SMEs.
  • Support analysis and design - For initiatives which are enterprise-wide or cross-functional, support the analysis of needs and design of appropriate learning solutions with support from relevant Learning Consultants.
  • Governance - Oversee and report on our content development project pipeline to ensure content development projects are prioritised, allocated and delivered in a way that delivers maximum value to Kerry. This includes making sure GBS Learning Technologists and Learning Administrators are working on the right things and prioritising content development projects in the right way.
  • Quality - For all content developed across the Learning Academies, ensure that a high level of quality is maintained and where relevant improvements in learning design and delivery are being adopted across the organisation. through regular audits of content, learner feedback, course popularity and methodologies used and that follow-up improvement actions are taken as appropriate.
  • Internal relationships - Build strong relationships with Learning Consultants and GBS Learning teams.
  • Third parties - Interact with third party suppliers of learning content to ensure this content is integrated seamlessly into the Kerry environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility and measurable success in the development of learning assets, ideally within a fast-paced, highly matrixed, multi-functional and global environment.
  • Experience of the full learning and development cycle from diagnosis through to evaluation.
  • Experience of designing and delivering blended learning & development solutions, within customer centric, global organisations.
  • Experience of using learning technology, and virtual tools (webinar platforms) to enhance the employee experience.
  • Experience of working with global stakeholders, supported by an appreciation of cultural difference.
  • You'll also need to be an effective communicator, relationship builder and project manager, with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and coordinate work across teams.
