For one of our clients, we are looking for a Lead Teacher, remotely from Latam.

The Lead Teacher will play a vital role in shaping interdisciplinary learning experiences for students aged 13-14. This role involves delivering a personalized curriculum that integrates core subjects with place-based learning opportunities. The educator will facilitate engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. With a strong focus on student-centered learning, the Lead Teacher will mentor students, track progress, and foster a collaborative educational environment. The position requires adaptability, cultural awareness, and a passion for innovative teaching methods.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver Math and Science curriculum aligned with learning outcomes and place-based experiences.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary projects beyond core subjects, fostering real-world learning.
  • Plan and execute lessons that complement hands-on, experiential education.
  • Adapt curriculum depth and pacing to meet individual student needs while achieving key objectives.
  • Assess student progress using formative evaluations and provide personalized feedback.
  • Support students in setting learning goals through mentorship and guidance.
  • Collaborate with educators, curriculum teams, and local staff to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Cultivate a sense of belonging and holistic well-being for all students.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents through weekly progress updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time classroom teaching experience.
  • Adaptability and cultural awareness to thrive in diverse learning environments.
  • Strong ability to integrate local culture, history, and environmental elements into learning.
  • Background in STEM and/or Humanities with an interdisciplinary teaching approach.
  • Experience or strong interest in project-based, experiential learning.
  • Versatility to teach across different subjects and facilitate cross-disciplinary learning.
  • Commitment to holistic, student-centered education focused on real-world applications.
  • Passion for integrating design thinking into innovative, student-driven experiences.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI and technology for personalized learning and engagement.
  • Strong mentorship skills, inspiring students to take ownership of their education.
