This is a work from home position anywhere within the US. Preference is given to those who are in commuting distance to one of the following offices for the occasional onsite meeting: Naperville, IL; Bedford, MA; Irving, TX; Rockville, MD

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assigning and overseeing tasks as well as collaborating with other architects and technical leads to develop the technical direction for systems across the enterprise as well as responsible for the technical evolution of the Company's systems as the company continues to develop new technologies.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Communicate technical direction and vision to all levels of management and technical staff.
  2. Perform analyses of requirements to design, document, and communicate technical implementations of those requirements. This design includes the physical environment as well as the software and data architecture as well as may involve modification of existing systems and/or the creation of new systems.
  3. Collaborate with the technical leads responsible for establishing software development standards that support the technical vision.
  4. Communicate extensively with customers and members of project teams regarding status, options, and issues related to the technical aspects of systems under development.
  5. Assigns and oversees tasks/assignments of development team and provides architecture and technical leadership.
  6. Serve as technical leader and resource by providing direction and assistance to technical leads and developers for data design, technical design, and development as needed.
  7. Evaluate and recommend enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
  8. Support a variety of other duties including maintenance; troubleshooting; technical design, coding and testing.
  9. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
  10. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  12. Demonstrate commitment to the Company's Core Competencies and values held within.
  13. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data - this role is considered to be a High Risk Role.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent functions with independence and reliance on a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to field of specialization to the completion of moderately difficult assignments. An incumbent works with minimal supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters. While work is generally defined by standard practices and procedures, the incumbent has discretion and latitude to identify courses of action not contained therein. This position has direct oversight which involves hiring, discipline, performance management, coaching and mentoring.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $155k - $170k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
