Job Description

We are rapidly growing our development team and looking for a detail-oriented Lead QA Engineer that will build and define Replika's QA pipeline in a CI based workflow. You will work on building both an automated test suite and a manual QA framework to best ensure coverage across our multi-tenant and multi-platform product platform. You will work closely with the engineers to ensure that their unit tests properly enforce the business logic dictated by the product team and clients. You will collaborate directly with Replika's product, sales and operations teams as well as some of the leading brands in fashion, luxury and beauty. .

Our technology stack includes: ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Python, AWS and Azure.

This position reports to the Director of Product Engineering.

You will:

  • Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to build exceptional products for our users while upholding our high engineering standards
  • Participate in an agile development process and collaborate closely with the rest of the development team daily.
  • Write automated tests to deliver error-free software.
  • Define a manual testing framework
  • Integrate both into a seamless CI pipeline.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience building automated integration tests for a multi-tenant and multi-service architecture.
  • Experience testing mobile applications.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Empathy with their users and the desire to steward great experiences.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Skills for upholding best practices in QA, security, and automation.

Required Qualifications:

Understanding of HTTP and REST APIs

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CIrcleCI or Github Actions

Deep understanding of at least one modern integration testing framework. Practical knowledge of testing in multi-service, multi tenant architectures. Experience testing web applications and mobile apps. .

Experience with git based development workflows (or another modern VCS)
