How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:
The primary objective of the function is to provide support for the monitoring and reporting of market and liquidity risk management and help expand risk coverage to include insurance risks inherited in the various products the company offers. The analyst will benefit from on-the-job training working with seasoned risk professionals and opportunities working closely with our business partners in Finance, Investments, Product, and pricing departments. This role will help enhance our risk metrics and surveillance and make a meaningful impact to the overall risk framework.

Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and monitor market and liquidity risk reports for the enterprise
• Support the preparation of materials for senior management committees and Board level meetings
• Help expand risk coverage to include insurance risk and enhance risk metrics
• Assist in risk oversight on Asset Liability management working groups and other financial risk management committees
• Engage and coordinate with business partners within the company on development of methods to manage risk more effectively
• Support the development and implementation of stress testing processes and models
• Provide effective support and proficient analysis on the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• 1- 3 years of work experience in the banking or insurance industry
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Math, quantitative science, or engineering majors preferred

• Compensation : Base salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results
• Time Off : Minimum of 20 days of paid time off and 13 paid company holidays per full calendar year, plus paid volunteer time
