The Total Nerd team generates content diving deep on anything our readers may nerd out on, from the latest addition to the MCU to the shows at the top of the Netflix Top Ten to the AAA video game that they've been playing all weekend. Anything that inspires a passionate fandom or warm nostalgic feelings has a place on Total Nerd and our smaller social pages. A day in the life looks like: Monitoring our Total Nerd Facebook and Instagram pages Responding to our fans via comments and messages on the social media pages Sharing engagement posts to both gauge the audience's interests and just serve as a fun conversation Maintaining a positive and constructive environment for our readers This might be the perfect role if you: Are a pop culture stan with a special affinity for genre fare. We need someone who has a strong opinion on who should be the next James Bond and knows who Charlieze Theron is supposed to be in her Multiverse of Madness cameo. Can quickly understand and adapt to our brand of nerdy passion. Are an active participant across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit. Work well communicating with clientele on the company's behalf. Since this role interacts directly with our fan base, it's imperative that you're able to communicate respectfully and knowledgeably. Thrive in a team environment. Like to use both the creative and analytical side of your brain. We are data driven social media scientists following trends and signal based on current audience interests. Want to get their foot in the door working for a major publishing site. Social media experience is preferred, but applicants looking to break into the field will be considered. How do I get this role?
