Job Description

SummaryThis role will entail close interactions with HR and hiring managers to identify hiring needs and recruit well qualified talent in a timely manner.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork with Senior Recruiter and Human Resources Team to assist with the execution of all staffing plans. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process, from sourcing through on-boarding.Consult with managers and executive staff to project the staff requirements and specific job objectivesAttract great candidates through a variety of methods, including but not limited to Company website, social media, online job boards, networking, employee referrals and job fairs.Create and post job descriptions.Evaluate and screen resumes and cover lettersDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with internal team members to develop trust and a collaborative atmosphereDetermine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hiresUtilize applicant tracking systems to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activitiesQualificationsRecruiting: 2 years (preferred)Proven work experience as an HR and Recruiting coordinator or recruiterExcellent communication skillsAbility to prioritize and complete projects within deadlineAbility to think outside of the boxExperience creating key word/Boolean searches to identify candidates.Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checksAbility to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systemsFamiliarity with social media, especially LinkedInHigh level of creativity, motivation, and professionalism throughout the recruitment process, combined with the ability to think independently and take initiative to proactively solve problems.Please note this position is not remote.EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL - Layton Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
