The JD Edwards World DB2 DBA is responsible for customizing, updating, supporting, and resolving production issues across the JDE platform, database, systems, and processes. The successful candidate must be a self-starter able to dive in, resolve ambiguity, address key integration requirements, and achieve results. The candidate must also have a high attention to detail with proven success in working with multiple stakeholders and managing and meeting deadlines. Herersquos how you will impact the company Demonstrate a proven track record customizing large scale JDE World v7.3 on AS400 database and applications with business and IT leadership to continually improve mission critical and operational systems. Analyzes the technical and business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, to design, develop, and troubleshoot the systems solution. Maintains a current understanding of how technology can enhance and offer a range of solutions for business partners. Be willing to perform a wide variety of database-related tasks. Maintain a high level of customer service through good communication and interact effectively with all levels of management, technical and non-technical users. Perform unit testing to ensure applications and processes work as expected. Ensure system enhancements and changes are thoroughly tested and deployed correctly. Provide effective and timely communication to business leaders and end users. We Can Get You an Interview - If You Have 6+ years of Information Technology experience. 3+ years of JDE World 7.3 cum 12 on an AS400 experience. Strong understanding of relational database concepts and design. Working knowledge of SQL. Candidates should be able to write simple ad-hoc SQL. Identifies problem trends, Production support, and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines.
