Learn more at About the Role: We are looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join Administration and Reporting in our IT Applications Team to provide support for Analytics Platforms & Data Preparation Team. In this role, you will provide direct support for our reporting environments and work with users. You will investigate, analyze, and fix issues in all areas of the environment and will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, building, testing, and implementing new BI solutions with our enterprise toolset. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States. Responsibilities: Be energized by collaborating on cross-functional teams Recognize the importance of building and maintaining value-added solutions Have foresight into designing robust solutions with future sustainment in mind Possess the necessary analytical and technical skills to perform the role BI Application Administration Gather and document requirements for BI initiatives and facilitates the translation of business requirements into technical design Design & Prototype BI solutions Develop and maintain BI solutions according to best practices Secure BI applications according to best practices Assist with the development of ad hoc queries and analyses and update job knowledge by researching new BI technologies tools and processes Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience working as an administrator focused in one or more of the following areas: COGNOS, Database, ETL Tools, etc. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on strategic projects focused on business intelligence, data warehousing, and/or data management Experience working in a formal change management environment Ability to acquire new skills quickly and thrive in a collaborative team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 10% Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience using business intelligence and analytics including data discovery/visualization applications, and data access/programming tools Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. Locations not eligible for new remote work arrangements include: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
