To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding Security Engineer to be part of our Information Technology Group. Overview We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our Global Security Operations team and apply a broad set of skills, best practices and procedures to tackle exciting strategic challenges, secure our global enterprise and protect our critical corporate data infrastructure. This position will be involved in many areas of Cyber Security and will play an integral role in administering Splunk. Responsibilities Splunk administration - architecture, implementation, dashboard creation, integration with other tools, etc. Administration, management or involvement with various enterprise security tools such as Antivirus/EDR, SEIM, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Application Monitoring, File Integrity Monitoring, DLP, SOAR, etc. Incident management - use of various security tools to remediate and prepare reports on findings Involvement in PCI related initiatives Vulnerability management - performing vulnerability scanning, assessments and remediation Managing application cataloging and whitelisting Create and maintain accurate security-related documentation - policies and procedures, diagrams, architecture and design proposals, etc. Participate in security audits and manage remediation plans Assist with infrastructure hardening initiatives Work with business stakeholders to define requirements and identify functional specifications Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback Ensure that changes conform to standards and are thoroughly tested Manage all tasks and projects, and ensure that all items are tracked in the ticketing system and being handled in a manner that meets or exceeds established OLAs and SLAs Promote teamwork within the team and foster cooperation with other groups and departments Maintain current knowledge of emerging trends in the network technology market Qualifications Experience administering a Splunk environment Thorough understanding of security components In depth knowledge of Windows operating systems Familiar with Linux Experience with Cisco security and network devices Firm understanding of SIEM solutions and concepts - log collection, correlation, structure, analysis, indexing, reporting, etc. Firm understanding of Active Directory Domains, trusts, group policies, role-based access control Good understanding of general security architecture, frameworks, and design Familiarity with the ITIL framework for change, problem, and incident management Aptitude for thinking through highly complex configurations and designs Systems administration background helpful Ability to analyze problems and create solutions Self-motivation and a strong sense of ownership and accountability Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information Sharp organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to produce consistent quality under deadline pressure while paying careful attention to detail A collaborative approach and willingness to engage in an environment of active idea sharing Why Melaleuca Why Melaleuca Melaleuca is one of the leading Health and Wellness companies in the world.
