Conduent Business Services is seeking a Project Analyst who'll provide project and analytical support to assigned business line or functional area. The successful candidate will perform research, analysis, review, development, implementations, and monitoring of new and/or revised products/services. Acts as a project liaison with Project Managers. Compiles and analyzes information for an assigned project or areas making recommendations based on findings.
This a permanent/full-time remote position and reports directly to the Manager, Delivery Data Management and Automation.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
You'll handle administrative tasks for the Project Manager to ensure the project remains on track
Coordinate, facilitate meeting, which will include providing detailed meeting minutes
Assist with update weekly status updates
Investigates operational and technical requirements and problems, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or change business processes.
Assists in analysis of the underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems and identifies available options for consideration
Works with users/clients in defining acceptance tests. Specifies and develops test scenarios to test that new/redesigned processes deliver improved ways of working for the end user and at the same time, delivering efficiencies and planned business benefits. Records and reports test results. Uses test plans and outcomes to specify user instructions
Under limited supervision, works with clients/users to investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques.
Arranges, prepares and takes part in client/user meetings and presents issues and solutions both orally and in writing
Processes and logs all production change requests for internal business and IT approvals
Adheres to established processes and requirements management methodology and practices while carrying out responsibilities. This includes meeting established quality standards and service levels including CMMI Level 3 processes
Bachelor's Degree (CompSci, Information Systems, Business Administration or relevant field.). Master's degree desired, but not required. Two to three (2-3) years of equivalent work experience in the banking/financial operations industry would be acceptable in lieu of degree.
Substantial IT experience, plus experience in business systems analysis, process engineering and process/organizational transformation
Experience in project management and supply chain management is desirable.
Must have working knowledge of ITIL/CMMI processes.
Strong familiarity with the software engineering life cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.
Possess a broad understanding of business and business skills.
Strong understanding/knowledge of business process improvement/s, benefit and risk management, software testing and of all testing events throughout the development lifecycle.
Ability to systematically and analytically resolve problems
Must be able to pay close attention to detail
Knowledge and understanding of business process framework including change control, SDLC, and procurement processes
Exposure to business process modeling and simulation tools is desired
Exposure to enterprise data modeling
Exposure to business change/transformation techniques and processes including ITIL and CMMI
Microsoft Office Suite (O365), SharePoint, Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, Microsoft Outlook, Visio
