Overview:
Jefferson Wells has an immediate need for both a Financial Audit Manager and an Operational Audit Manager for a 100% Remote Contract project expected to last at least 4+ months. Our client is a Fortune 500 Energy company based in the midwest. We need audit professionals with Hands-On Auditing experience who have also managed teams. Our consultants are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis though our regular weekly payroll.

Project Summary:
Audit Managers will assist in managing the audit processes, including:
- Assessing Risk.
- Planning.
- Coordinating Testers.
- Preparing and reviewing workpapers and reports.
- Drafting audit reports.
- Tracking and following up on issues and remediation.
- Managing budget to actual.
- Providing client communication and status reporting.

Requirements - Must Have Proficiency and Experience with the following:
- Internal Audit Operations.
- Project & Resource Management - Must have prior experience managing a team.
- IIA Professional practice standards.
- Ability to interface with senior clients, strong communication skills.
- Experience with Utilities or Energy industries would be a huge plus.
- Financial Audit Manager must have experience with financial processes (ICRT and SOX.)
- Operational Audit Manager must have experience with common operational processes (i.e. supply chain, distribution, vendors, etc.) and also with compliance/regulatory processes (i.e. FCPA, FERC, PUCO, etc.)
