Job Description

Newly created Marketing & Communications position with a brand new brand and organisation. A rare opportunity to work 100% remote within the Agriculture and Horticulture sector, outside IR35. Alternatively, a 16 month FTC.

Client Details

Our client is a brand-new professional body for farmers and growers. Our client aims to develop a progressive offer in a short amount of time by working with industry experts. The organisation currently has 12 employees across the UK, working remotely as industry experts.

Description

  • Draft, design, implement, and maintain:
    • Communications strategy and content plan
    • Stakeholder communications strategy and management plan
    • Marketing strategy and plan, aligned with business targets
    • Calendar of events
    • Key TIAH documents and templates
  • Create external communications as required,
  • Press management
  • Copywriting
  • Curation of external content
  • Brand awareness
  • Develop regular content for SEO
  • Additional development and maintenance work as required

Profile

  • Qualification or experience in communications and or marketing
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the UK's food and farming sector and its key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate good working relationships with the trade press
  • A proven track record in public relations and issues management is desirable
  • Excellent writing and wider communication skills with the ability to distill key messages for target audiences is essential
  • Experience of creating and managing impactful content both on- and off-line whilst maintaining coherence between channels
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of managing projects and suppliers including quality assurance of output
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work as a part of a team but be self-disciplined to work alone on a day-to-day basis
  • Flexible approach to work, including the ability to recognise a need and act on it
  • Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions
  • Digital literacy and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies and ways of working
  • Ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to interact comfortably and professionally with multiple stakeholders, ranging from colleagues to trustees to members
  • Attention to quality and client excellence with excellent attention to detail

Job Offer

Full time

Immediate start

Day rate running until March 22 (circa £200pd, negotiable)

OR FTC until March 23 (£35-45kpa dependent on experience)
