Jacobs is currently seeking an Intercompany Accounting Manager to work in a dynamic, challenging environment, cultivating and delivering excellence in Jacobs' global Corporate Accounting Group. We're looking for a team player with the desire to be an active, long-term contributor in the growth of the accounting teams and organization overall. You'll utilize and develop your experience and ability to guide, influence and review the work of others on this global team. The role allows you to interact with other departments and increase your business acumen. Your accounting knowledge contributes to the success of the company and ensures all accounting activity is in compliance with US GAAP, Company policies and procedures, SEC reporting requirements, and the Sarbanes-Oxley act. As the Intercompany Accounting Manager, you'll regularly and successfully engage in: + Preparing monthly closing journal entries and account reconciliations. + Reviewing Global Intercompany Trade AR and AP reconciliations and monthly elimination journals prepared by team members. + Reviewing Global Intercompany Rev/Cogs analysis and elimination journals. + Reviewing Global Intercompany Loans and monthly journals recording new loans, interest expense and eliminations. + Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities for cost savings. + Participating in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for global accounting activities and continuous improvement process including automation and acceleration. + Preparing ad hoc reports and analyses, as requested. + Reading, understanding, and following the applicable process narratives pertaining to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements. + Provide support as needed to external auditors. Here's What You'll Need: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field + CPA required. + At least 5 years of accounting experience to include 1-2 years of public accounting/audit experience. + Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including pivot tables and vlookups for large volume of data. + Thorough understanding of consolidations, international accounting and reporting issues. + Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and controls. Ideally, you'll also have: + Master's degree in related field + Big 4 audit experience + Experience with a large ERP system, preferably Oracle. + Experience with Hyperion Financial Management. \ Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
