Insurance Risk Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversight and management of multiple stand-alone insurance risk-transfer programs, including annual renewal processes, annual audits, management approval, expense budgeting and forecasting with an overall goal of expense/limit/coverage optimization.
- Overall accountability for all lines of insurance, claims administration and reporting, periodic reviews, settlement negotiation, and invoicing.
- Responsible for accounting and finance support as respects insurance expense, payment timing, and premium finance agreements.
- Management reporting on various insurance and safety performance indicators.
- Review of contract documents to ensure proper coverage, recommend strategy and negotiate final coverage requirements.
- Understands corporate business strategies and ensures risk management initiatives are aligned in support of those strategies.
- Support on cross functional initiatives within the Corporate Safety and Human Resources Departments.
Skills, Experience, Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration required.
- Combination of broker and corporate experience preferred
- High working level knowledge of traditional property and casualty policies and specialty line exposures.
