Power Equipment Direct is one of the largest online retailers specializing in outdoor power equipment and HVAC products. We are currently seeking the right individuals to fill an immediate need for an Inside Sales Representative. If you love helping people and want to join a fast-growing organization that already has sales of $260+ million annually, this is the position for you!**Essential Responsibilities & Duties:**+ Interact with customers contacting our inbound Sales Center by phone and electronically. NO COLD CALLING required.+ Consult with customers to aid in the appropriate selection and purchase of merchandise that meet their needs.+ Secure sales by effectively answer customers' questions about products and services.+ Continually enhance your sales and customer service skills and your product knowledge in order to increase the level of support you provide our customers.+ Work with colleagues from across the company to ensure a great customer experience from the shopping process through delivery.+ Resolve customer concerns regarding sales and service.+ Earn a competitive base salary, starting at $17-$20/hour (depending on experience), in addition to a monthly sales reward.+ Associates will have the flexibility to work from home, but may be required to commute to our Bolingbrook, IL office on an as-needed basis for training or coaching purposes.**The Ideal Candidate Will:**+ Have prior sales/customer service experience, preferably in power equipment, plumbing, and/or HVAC.+ Be a goal-oriented, self-motivated individual with an ambition to succeed.+ Desire and ability to learn quickly.+ Demonstrate the aptitude to build rapport and trust with their customers.+ Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, conveying professionalism, enthusiasm, and courtesy.+ Thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment by multi-tasking, efficiently utilizing all tools and resources, maintaining exceptional time management and organizational skills.+ Enjoy working in a fun, customer-focused environment where success as a team is promoted, celebrated, and rewarded.+ If a career with an organization that rewards performance and provides a stable and supportive environment for its associates sounds good to you, Power Equipment Direct may just be the opportunity you've been looking for.
