The Information Security Analyst is a highly motivated individual that has a passion for Information Security and protecting company assets. This colleague will work with Tivity Healths Security team to implement technical security controls, perform security operations reviews, assist with security assessments, and help implement corporate security projects. This colleague will learn about Tivity Healths business and have the ability to adapt to quickly changing environments, staying up to date on information security and technology trends.Operate, monitor, and perform security operations tasks around Tivity Healths technical security solutions [e.g., firewalls, anti-malware, logging/monitoring systems (SIEM), data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, etc.]Review information security-related events from multiple sources and work with other team members to respond appropriatelyPerform daily, weekly, and monthly security operations tasksProvide initial triage of reported information security incidents and work together with other incident response team members and IT outsourced partners to provide rapid response to security threatsAdvise and assist with remediating detected vulnerabilitiesParticipate in evidence collection for audits and assist in company audits/assessments such as SOX, HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.Assist with vendor and product/solution security assessmentsMaintain tracking of information security corrective actions and exceptionsProvide security metrics that can be used by various groups and teams including senior managementAssist in creation and maintenance of information security-related documentation (e.g., policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, etc.)Assist in implementation of Tivity Healths Information Security projects as directedCreate and maintain relationships with various teams (e.g., programmers, auditors, IT support, management, etc.) to facilitate implementation and maintenance of information security controls across the enterprise
Degree in a related field of study such as Information Security, Computer Science, or MIS/CIS; experience in lieu of education will be consideredMinimum of 2 years experience working in the information security field (preferred)Understanding of principles in network technology, incident response, data loss prevention, security architecture, endpoint detection and response, vulnerability identification and mitigation, cloud security, virtualization, and information security policyUnderstanding of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory (including Organizational Unit structure and Group Policy Objects) and PowerShellExperience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment techniques is a plusUnderstanding of security technologies and concepts such as firewalls, proxies, security information and event management, anti-malware, intrusion detection and prevention, and event logging and log parsingAbility to learn technologies and platforms quicklyExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the strong ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter expertsExperience with writing security and IT-related documentation (e.g., white papers, procedures, technical specs, etc.) and presenting information to peers and leadership as requiredAbility to work independently and complete projects in coordination with other team membersHolds/maintains information security-related certification(s) (preferred)Note This role can be remote in the United States.
