What We're Looking For
Our client, a US-based immigration law firm, is seeking an experienced Immigration Law Paralegal to support attorneys in preparing and filing complex business immigration petitions. This role plays a key part in managing O-1 extraordinary ability visas and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of O-1 and EB-2 NIW petitions, from initial consultation to filing.
- Gather and analyze supporting documentation, such as academic credentials and professional achievements.
- Draft detailed support letters, petition narratives, and legal briefs under attorney supervision.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout the process.
- Assist with additional business immigration cases, including H-1B, L-1, and employment-based green card petitions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business immigration law, with expertise in O-1 and EB-2 NIW petitions.
- Strong knowledge of USCIS regulations and current immigration policies.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Experience with H-1B, L-1, and employment-based green card petitions.
- Prior experience working with clients in technology, sciences, or arts sectors.
- Familiarity with premium processing procedures and digital documentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field is preferred but not required.
