The Tax Resource Specialist works on a team that handles tax disclosure updates, revisions, Tax ID discrepancies and post close updates. This team member obtains current and delinquent information for the tax certification.
•Create and prepare initial tax certification in a real estate transaction
•Maintain an understanding of how property taxes are reported in each state and region
•Analyze and review tax information and estimate taxes
•Communicate with internal and external partners to obtain information and provide status updates
•Support the hotline by responding to questions and concerns via email and phone to resolve issues regarding taxes
•Handle complex files and work to resolve them
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Typing 35 Words per Minute - required
Attention to detail
Communication must haves:
Strong verbal AND written communication ability
Experience with communicating to problem solve issues for leaders and partners
Technology must haves:
Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
Multi-system computer experience (examples; double monitors, use of multiple applications at the same time)
